3. Edit vncservers file:

Uncomment the two lines below and edit it with your own username:<\/div>\n

\nVNCSERVERARGS[2]=\u201d-geometry 800\u00d7600 -nolistentcp -nohttpd -localhost\u201d<\/b><\/i><\/div>\n

4. Configuring Desktop Environment if needed:

5. Set the password for vncserver user:
\n# vncpasswd<\/b>
\nPassword:<\/b>\u00a0myvncpassword
\nVerify:<\/b>\u00a0myvncpassword<\/i><\/div>\n
Start the VNCServer:<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Note:<\/b>\u00a0Its must to set the password for VNC otherwise the service may not start.<\/b><\/div>\n
\n6. Configure other services:<\/div>\n
# service vncserver start<\/b><\/div>\n
# chkconfig vncserver on<\/b><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Configure firewall for vnc users, to disable it:<\/div>\n
Also stop NetworkManager& disable SELinux<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
# \/etc\/init.d\/NetworkManager stop<\/b><\/div>\n
# chkconfigNetworkManager off<\/b><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Edit here for disable SELINUX.<\/div>\n
#vim\u00a0 \/etc\/sysconfing\/selinux<\/b><\/div>\n
SELINUX=disabled<\/i><\/div>\n
Save &quit!<\/i><\/div>\n
\nStop the IPtables.<\/b><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
# \/etc\/init.d\/iptables save<\/b>
\n# \/etc\/init.d\/iptables stop<\/b><\/b><\/div>\n
# chkconfigiptables off<\/b><\/div>\n

B. Client configuration:\u00a0<\/b>
\nNow to acces the VNC console from the client, you need to install VNC client on the system on both Linux or Windows which is\u00a0“Tigervnc Client”<\/b>. You can download it from ‘sourceforge’ website.<\/div>\n
\nNow, Run tigervnc Client<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Give IP as:\u00a0\u00a0 172.16.XX.XX<\/i><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The default port number is 5900+1 for each user:<\/div>\n
The second user will be 5902 (VNCSERVERS=\u201d2:root\u201d).<\/div>\n

You can Access the Server machine now.<\/div>\n
