We now can switch between core and full installation, and we can do so on-the-fly. There\u2019s really no more reason why, you should be using a full installation for a server, unless it\u2019s due to an installed application\u2019s or role\u2019s requirements. The server will now need to be rebooted. During the reboot phase, the remaining components will be removed. Do not power off the server.<\/li>\n<li>After the server reboots, log back in.<\/li>\n<li>Once you\u2019re logged in, you\u2019ll notice that only a command-prompt window is open. Now we need to install both of the features listed above.\n<pre class=\"powershell\">Install-WindowsFeature -Name \"Server-Gui-Mgmt-Infra\",\"Server-Gui-Shell\"<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>When the features are installed, a warning will be displayed telling you that the server must be restarted. Go ahead and restart the server now.<\/li>\n<li>When the server completes the reboot process, log in.
