QmHandle, a perl script which gives you greater functionality – allows you to view and manage the ‘qmail’ message queue.<\/p>\n
It can be install by excuting the following commands
\ncd \/usr\/bin
\nwget -O – “http:\/\/easynews.dl.sourceforge.net\/sourceforge\/qmhandle\/qmhandle-1.2.0.tar.gz” | tar xzf<\/p>\n
Following commands are useful to manage the queue<\/p>\n
# List emails by subject wise:
\nqmHandle -l |awk ‘\/Subject\/ {print}’|sort | more<\/p>\n
#qmHandle -tX ‘string’ ( delete all messages with matching headers, where string to match and X specifies:<\/p>\n
‘f’ : Who the message is from,<\/p>\n
‘t’ : Who the message is to; or,<\/p>\n
‘s’ : What the message’s subject is<\/p>\n
#qmHandle -M ( delete all msgs in the queue from MAILER-DAEMON@hostname)<\/p>\n
# Forcefully send emails.
\nqmHandle -a<\/p>\n
# List message queues
\nqmHandle -l<\/p>\n
# delete all messages in the queue
\nqmHandle -D<\/p>\n
# list local message queue
\nqmHandle -L<\/p>\n
# list remote message queue
\nqmHandle -R<\/p>\n
# display message number N
\nqmHandle -mN<\/p>\n
# delete message number N
\nqmHandle -dN<\/p>\n
# delete all messages that contain text as Subject
\nqmHandle -Stext<\/p>\n
# delete all messages that contain text as From email address
